Vegetarians and health-conscious patrons will appreciate the Pacific Cheeseboard’s local artisan cheeses or the vibrant Citrus & Squash Salad, bursting with roasted squash, spiced pepitas, and a tangy agave Dijon vinaigrette. For those craving heartier fare, the Crab Louie Stack layers fresh lump crab with crisp romaine and cherry tomatoes, delivering a harmonious textural experience.
End your evening on a decadent note with desserts such as the Croissant Beignets dusted with powdered sugar and served with a rich espresso crème anglaise, or the Mango Sticky Sundae featuring tropical Alfonso mango sorbet crowned with toasted sticky rice, mini mochi, and popping mango boba—an irresistible fusion of flavors and textures.

Polar Bar embodies the perfect blend of creative mixology, elevated comfort food, and an atmosphere that encourages you to linger just a little longer. Whether you’re enjoying a weekend night out or relaxing after touring Seattle’s historic underground, it’s a destination that will leave a lasting impression on your palate and your spirit.
We were here on a weeknight so not sure what the weekends are like but it was a nice, quiet place where people could sit and talk They had quite a few specialty cocktails. I thought they all were great. Quite a few put on a show for you from a cake topped one to smoke to having to pop a bubble! The food was good. Burger was awesome. French fried could use an upgrade. Calamari and sauces were excellent. Apple crisp was okay.
My family was staying in the Arctic Club Hotel, and my mother and I decided to go down to the lobby and check out the bar. It was absolutely wonderful! The mocktail I ordered tasted great and looked identical to an actual cocktail. The service and the ambience was also spectacular. I would absolutely recommend paying a visit here, whether for drinks or food, especially if you’re staying at the hotel and want to hang out somewhere for the night.
Stopped by the bar touring Seattle with a couple I met the night before at a Buddy Guy concert. They offered to show me around since I was in town on travel for work and hadn’t had the chance to see much during my stay. I’m extremely grateful for this generous couple. After taking an underground tour leading about the history of how Seattle once burned to the ground we stopped by the Artic Club Hotel to admire the amazing architecture along with the sculpted walruses. While walking and talking a bystander recommended that we go in to see the ballroom. Whoever that man was THANK YOU for the recommendation! We went in and the ambiance of the bar area drew us in for a cocktail or 2. We decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. Bryan was the best bartender I’ve experienced not only while in Seattle but in a long time! He was very nice, personable, and cannot forget to mention he made one hell of an old fashion . He made the experience 1000x better and learn a lot about him pursuing his music career and his wonderful taste in music chatting over a couple of drinks. If you’re in the area stop by and request Bryan as a bartender. He will not disappoint. He also gave a great recommendation for a dinner stop that was by far the best and most fresh salmon I’ve ever had.
Happened to be in the area. Surprisingly great hotel bar. Offers good quality flavorful dishes, at reasonable prices! Good vegetarian options, multi cuisine menu.
Such a great atmosphere, for an old school cocktail and relaxation, in a classy comfortable vibe.
What a fantastic bar! The drinks and food were good, but what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. Situated in a classic hotel the decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed. This is the type of bar you can get a drink or two and have a relaxing conversation on a couch with a friend. That and there's a free-to-play pool table too. Service is super friendly too.
I rated it 5 because of the great evening I had here. No crowd when we went there which I loved for the occasion I am celebrating. The bar was somewhat similar like in The Shining movie. The bar was in an old, nostalgic hotel that used to be an Arctic Club which was a social club for men who worked in Alaska. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink which was the Anthony Hopkins and loved it. The bartender/waiter was friendly and great! Ordered fried oysters and chicken piccata. Chef was very accomodating for preparing the chicken piccata gluten free and it was delicious. They have a pool table near the bar where you can play for free. There was a fireplace too where you can dine and be more romantic while drinking. Seats are not for formal dining just fyi. You can have small staff meetings and small gathering party there. Price of food and drinks are reasonable.
